This little fella is a relative on the classic cheese plant.  He has smaller unique leaves and tends to be more compact. Native to the tropical rainforests of Southern Mexico and Panama, he enjoys warm and humid conditions. 
Easy to take care of, the Monkey Leaf Monstera will grow into a beautiful trailing plant, but if you would like to keep him compact, he won’t mind a trim.

Light conditions: indirect, medium bright light
Neediness: Monsteras kick would benefit from support as they grow larger. Regularly rotating the plant will ensure even growth. Leaves need occasional dusting with a damp cloth to help keep the pores clear and allow the plant to breathe.
Watering: ensure that the soil is kept consistently damp but not too wet. He like a regular misting.
Ideal location: bedrooms, living rooms and studies
Rate of growth: this plant can grow up to 20m in the right conditions. If growth is excessive new growth can be pinched off. This plant has tendril like aerial roots meaning they will be visible above the surface and can be fed into a moss pole.
Temperature: fine to keep at normal room temperature, in the winter months make sure that the temperature remains above 10°C
