Native to Asia and Eastern Australia the alocasia pink dragon is a members of the Araceae family, arum family. 

Our love for the colour pink in our houseplants are a popular as ever and this green/pink combo is no exception. Alocasia Pink Dragon has lush, large-leafed foliage attached to dainty pink stems. he is certainly one of the most striking house plants with his metallic-green leaves and silver veins

Ideal location: Likes high humidity so bathroom & kitchen.

Light conditions: Bright, indirect, filtered light. Avoid allowing this plant to sit in  direct sunlight—the leaves may burn. Rotate the pot once a week so that all the leaves get enough light 

Watering: Wait until the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry to touch before watering. Like the soil moist but not soggy.

Neediness: Low maintenance despite its exotic appearance. Wipe the leaves regularly with a damp cloth to remove dust but also provide extra moisture. A pebble tray is recommended to increase humidity. Misting or better still use a humidifier.

Pets & Children: Toxic if eaten. Keep away from children and animals.

Rate of growth: Slow growing!

Temperature: Average indoor temperatures of 16-26ºC are suitable, and no lower than 15 ºC.
