Mini Calathea Peacock | 7cm pot

The Calathea Peacock has interesting and distinctive, coloured leaves in shades of red and purple, and decorative markings.  like the name suggests this calathea is a show stopper.

Ideal location:  Bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and studies

Light conditions: Diffused light. Direct sunlight will cause the leaves to fade and lose my precious markings. Can tolerate shade, but prefers indirect light.

Watering: Water little and often. Keep the soil moist but don’t allow to sit in water as this can cause root rot.

Neediness: This Calathea likes high humidity levels. Try standing on a wet pebble tray to improve humidity and mist frequently. Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust to help the plant breath.

Sizing: Pot W7cm Pot x Height approx. 20cm

Temperature: Warm household temperatures 18-24°C, but no lower than 15°C. Avoid cold draughts.

Growth: Can grow 60cm tall. Fast growing.

Toxicity:  This plant is non-toxic to cats and dogs

Air Purifying: A good houseplant for purifying and filtering the air.
