Light conditions: needs lots of diffused light as direct sunlight will cause the leaves to fade and lose their markings. They can tolerate some shade but are better in light conditions.
Watering: likes to be kept in damp soil at all times, but definitely do not allow the plant to sit in water or in very wet soil. Little and often is a good watering policy.

Pets & Children: this plant is non-toxic to cats and dogs.
Rate of growth: can reach height of 40-60cm. Calathea Roseopicta is a moderately fast growing house plant.
