Anthurium originally comes from the tropical rainforests of South and Central America, and are classified under Araceae. Her name is from the Greek anthos (flower) and oura (tail). Her common name is Flamingo Flower plant.
She is one of the most popular houseplants and this particular variety ‘Grandi Flora Noir’ won’t disappoint. She has shiny leaves with a waxy surface and beautiful black flowers.
Ideal location: Any warm, humid indoor room.
Light conditions: She likes bright light but not direct sunlight.
Watering: Keep the soil moist with regular watering during the summer months.
Neediness: Easy to care for, however mist regularly as she likes high humidity. During the growing period add plant food for flowering plants
but do not feed in the winter. In the winter keep the Anthurium in a cool and dry place for about six weeks. During this time new flower buds will form.

Temperature: Warm environments with temperatures above 18ºC. But not close to radiators as the heat is too dry.
Growth: Slow to moderate with the right light and conditions
Toxicity: Toxic to cats and dogs.
